Set up day for the Letchworth Show

Today we packed the car to get my booth all set up for tomorrow’s show. It’s a very different venue this year but looks to be good. It’s in the Perry Village Park , set up on a oval with exhibitors on the inside and outside of the oval.

I had a few missteps but I managed to get everything done. We arrived without my tables requiring me to return home to get them but in the end it all worked out.

Here is a picture of my booth all ready for visitors tomorrow. The weather looks to be good too, so my fingers are crossed. If you are at the show please pop in and say Hi! I will be at location J15.

Barbara’s Blog:

Hi Everyone. This is the first post that I am sending out since I have launched my website. I really struggled what I wanted from my blog as I did not want it to be boring or filled with useless information. My goal is that I write about what I am up to, what I am making, how I am making it and what shows I will be doing.

I just get so exciting about the world of jewelry making that I want to share what I have learned, how I do things and to showcase some of my work.

For the past two weeks I have been focused on getting ready for the Letchworth Arts & Crafts show. This is a jury show, meaning that your work has to be approved by a committee to be worthy of being part of the show. This show is also one of the top 200 shows nation wide by Sunshine Artists, a publication that promotes shows around the country. It’s also the 45 year for this show, it would have been the 46 but last year the show was cancelled because of the pandemic.

Although the show will not be in the Letchworth State Park this year (because of Covid) it will go on and be at the Perry Village Park. I am impressed that this committee worked on a great solution to allow the show to continue.

Below is the map of the site and I have put a red arrow as to where you can find me! Please come and introduce yourself.

Getting ready for a 3 day show is challenging. I have been making my list and have my work and set up all packed and ready to go.

I hope to see you at the show!
